Intermediate/advanced BellyDance with Naimah

Classes must be purchased thru the studio.
It is time to begin exploring your own style in belly dance. In this class students will learn basic modern tribal style technique and posture, layering, fluid arm movement, popping, locking, tick tocking, and serpent-like body movements and learn how to experiment with these movements. This class will also include sassy choreography with or without props. Each class will begin with an intense body conditioning warm up and drills to improve muscle control and memory and isolation skills including layering. Be prepared to sweat at home as well.
Attire: Comfortable dance pants. No skirts please. The instructor needs to see how you are moving to make sure it is the correct way. Hip scarves are optional. Ballet slippers, socks or bare feet is ok. No street shoes please.
This is an intermediate/advance class. At least one year of experience required.
